Graduated in Medicine and Surgery, specialized in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation at the University of Milan, he worked in Emergency Surgery, Cardiac Anesthesia, and Resuscitation until 1977, the year he shifted to Dentistry. In 1980, he completed his specialization in Odontostomatology and Prosthetics at the University of Padua (Verona campus). Since 1985, after a clinical internship at the Universities of Lund and Gothenburg (Sweden), he has been working full-time in the field of Osseointegration. He was a contract professor at the University of Cagliari in the academic years ’91/’92 and ’92/’93 and a lecturer in various post-graduate university specialization courses (2000/2007). He has participated in numerous international multicenter clinical studies and is part of an international research group on immediate function in implantology. A speaker at numerous conferences in Italy and abroad, he is an instructor of Implant Therapy Courses.
